Unveiled in 2022, the “Sprite” 126720VTNR broke new ground as the first left-handed (destro) Rolex. Its winding crown and date sit at 9 o’clock so the watch can be worn on the right wrist without the crown digging into the hand. It pairs a green-and-black Cerachrom bezel with a green 24-hour hand, and comes on either a Jubilee or an Oyster bracelet.

That mix of a bold colourway and a genuine first-in-the-catalogue layout made the Sprite an immediate collector’s piece, and a difficult watch to secure at retail. On the pre-owned market it commands a premium over the standard GMT-Master II, with Jubilee-bracelet examples generally the most sought after. Because production is recent, most pieces are near-new and full sets are common.
