About the Rolex Submariner “Hulk”
The “Hulk” 116610LV is the only Rolex Submariner ever made with both a green bezel and a green sunburst dial. Produced from 2010 to 2020 in the 40 mm Super Case with the calibre 3135 movement, it followed the 50th-anniversary green-bezel “Kermit” and pushed the all-green look further. When Rolex discontinued it in 2020 in favour of the slimmer, black-dial “Starbucks”, the Hulk instantly became a modern grail.
Because it is discontinued, every Hulk on the market is pre-owned, and prices are driven by condition, year and full-set status. The bright green dial is unique in the Submariner line and is the reason the model holds such a devoted following. Later examples with the newer Oyster clasp and full box-and-papers sets are the most desirable.
